Kysaac's Birthday #3!

Kysaac wanted a Rocket cake from the little Einsteins. This is mine and matts attempt to make him happy. We made it the night before and by the time we sang to him the candy windows had melted down. We had some friends over for dinner and cake. I can't believe we have a 3 year old.
We just took him to the doctor and he's 38 in. tall and 42 lbs! Wow!

Our mleted windows :(

Halloween!

Here's are Panda Express mascotts! I decided to make them panda bear costumes and Hampton loved putting the hat on. We did a little trick or treating at the mall after making their cameo at Matts Restaurant!

Carving Pumpkins!

We had a blast carving pumpkins! Kysaac picked out a cute face to go his and dad and him worked on it while I worked on mine. Kysaac was afraid to put his hands in the pumpkin to get the seeds out it was so funny! They turned out pretty good huh!

Pumpkin Patch!

Matt and Kysaac looking for a good one.
Kysaac was cute running around and making sure they didn't have yucky stuff on them, and he acted like he was so picky.
What can we say... He's a cutie!
This was on the hay ride to the patch! There was a petting zoo to and Kysaac loved the little pigs running around. Especially since we just watched Charoletts Web.

Hampton's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe that Hampton is already ONE! He is so cute and brings so much joy to our family. He has his dad wrapped around his finger. He started crawling at six months and walking at 10 1/2 to 11 months. He has 7 teeth and is working on his eighth. He loves to try and keep up with his brother and has the cutest pout ever! We Love You Hampton!
It was a little different to not have any family around but we had a good day with the boys! While Hampton had his morning nap we rolled out wrapping paper for Kysaac to color so we could wrap his gifts.
Then we had lunch and sang to him. He didn't understand why we were singing to just him. But he loved his cake! It was cute and fun for him to dig his fingers into it.

These are his presents! Kysaac helped him open them really good. He didn't care though he was excited. You should see him cuddle the panda, it's adorable!
Kysaac was good and showed him how to build a tower with his new blocks! He loved them and thier bright colors! He likes to stack them up and knock them over. He laughs when they fall.

Fishing

Everyone around this area goes fishing. When we ask people what they like to do or what their hobbies are, it's fishing. So Matt and I checked into it and while it can be an expensive hobbie it can be inexpensive too! We went and got a pole for Matt and a small one for Kysaac and went to the lake, which is about 10 min. away. We had a really good time and with just our family and the kids did really good. Kysaac doesn't understand how to cast but he is really good at realing the line in and really likes the idea of getting a fish. Our first trip was short and we learned a little without looking dumb infront of anyone. Our second trip we invited a couple from the ward and we had fun with them while also learning more about fishing. Matt and I both agreed that its a great way to get away from the stress of life right now. We think we are going to have a great new hobbie! Who'd a thought?

This is Jon, Kysaac wouldn't let go of him. It was really funny!
Hampton was having a great time as long as one of us was holing him. (this was his birthday too)

A day with Friends!

It's amazing how something so simple can make such a difference in your life. Matt and I have been trying to make some friends in our ward and area, it's hard with a restaurant schedule to get together with anyone. We finally managed to have a day off when our friends Kirk and Jill were going to be in Vancouver. We went to meet them and had a wonderful day together. They have two kids, Erica that is exactly 2months older than Kysaac, and Kaden who is an adorable 4 months. We went to a park that has a cool water park for kids. They had a blast. We also went to the mall with a fun play area. Hampton surprised us with his independence and love of slides. The videos were with phone so quality isn't that good but they're cute! Thanks Kirk and Jill!

Laughter!

Every once in a while Kysaac can find it in him to "take care" of his little brother. I heard them laughing and had to check it out! There's nothing better than hearing your kids laugh!

Dancing!

Hampton breaks into dance every time he hears music. I love it he is a very happy little boy. WOW! I don't know when he turned into a little boy instead of my baby!!!

Artist?

I decided to get water colors out for Kysaac the other day and we put one of Matts old t-shirts on him. He was really excited and could have painted the rest of the day if I'd let him.

Now that I have the computer without Matt looking over my shoulder stopping me from writting this, I just want to clarify that Yes I cut the boys hair but not this time...Matt did! I didn't want a mohawk but I lost that battle only for a few days though. It was time, but pretty sad to cut Hamptons hair for the first time. He looks so big. I can't believe I'm going to have a three and one year old!

Almost walking!

Laughing!

This is Kysaac avoiding eating his dinner by making Hampton laugh. He is under the table making noises and pretending to fall so that Hampton would laugh. Hampton has a great tummy laugh!
Hey there everyone so nothing to exciting has happened lately but we did manage to catch a few funny moments from Kysaac and Hampton. Sometimes I really wonder what is going through Kysaac's head as he just sits and plays. He was actually doing this for about ten minutes before I thought to get the camera. Every time he tried to put another paper under his chin he would drop the rest but he kept trying. It might be boring to some but I thought it was funny!

Kysaac's 1st Pet!

We all went for a little walk around our complex the other day and as we were going to go inside there was a little tiny treefrog about the size of the top of my thumb jumping around. (don't know how I saw it) It was really cute so we grabbed a jar and made a quick home for it. Kysaac was so excited to make a home and have him. Matt got online and checked to see what to feed him. (crickets) while that made both me and Matt a little squirmish we thought it was cool to have a tiny little pet for Kysaac to be so excited about. However we couldn't find any bugs let alone crickets so we told Ky that we were going to let him go so he could find his family. We decided we would get a fish instead!

4th of July Weekend!

We had a wonderful vacation in Idaho and Utah! We went to Pauls farewell (good luck Paul we will miss you) and to the Rexburg Temple (which is beautiful). We also went to Lagoon on the 3rd (my birthday) and had a blast with lots of family! It was so nice to see everyone! We then went to the traditional KOA for the Fireworks on the 4th. It was funny to see Kysaac and Hampton interact with cousins and friends and family! Kysaac loved the fireworks and still asks to go to grandpas and watch fireworks. Hampton of course fell asleep before they started but didn't flinch a muscle when they did. We then had to drive our long way back home. We really enjoyed the vacation and seeing everyone! We miss being closer to home and family.
