Half Way!

Yeah I'm half way done!

New Blog!

I decided to make a blog for all my sewing projects I have done and will do. You can see it at mariasews.blogspot.com or just click at the link in my friends and family. I am still trying to round up all the pictures of projects I have done, so it is still in progress. And... if anyone needs any sewing done let me know! I just got a serger and am excited to use it so put me to work.

Updates!

I'm a little behind on my posts so scroll down, there are more. Updates as of now, we are moving to Rexburg on the 16th and we are very excited. We found a place right by campus so Matt can walk and I can have the car!! (yeah) I also got to have an early ultra sound and while we knew we probably wouldn't see gender yet....HE opened up and showed us everything! We are very excited to have THREE boys!

Happy Birthday Kysaac #4!

My big boy is 4 years old! (Nov. 2nd) We celebrated at Great Grandmas house and as you can see from his face he was a happy boy. I explained to him in the morning that he was no longer 3 and that he was a big four year old now, He just smiled and said ok! I'm so thankful for Kysaac and his wonderful smile and spirit! We Love You Kysaac!!

Halloween!

Halloween was fun this year, The boys loved the idea that they were "Army Guys." I made them costumes with their names and they wore them all day! We went around our neighborhood and they had fun ringing the door bells and getting free candy! Hampton didn't have any problem catching on to the drill.
Dad picked out these guns for them. They light up and make noise but they are so fun!
We carved pumpkins at Great Grandmas this year with cousins and had so much fun!
Kysaac wanted the little monster so Matt helped him with that while I did the headless horseman.

Hamptons Big #2!

I'm not sure why the pics loaded in this order but oh well. It was Hamptons birthday on Thursday and my baby turned Two! He is really into trains so we made him a train cake and we got boxes and let him and Kysaac color on them while we turned them into Box Trains! It was a ton of fun! Grandma and Grandpa Thueson came and took us to dinner and then we opened presents. We were all to full from dinner that we just let him blow the candles out and then we watched Monsters VS. Aliens! We had a great day! Happy Birthday Hampton!

New Hair Cuts!

I got these fun hair clippers from my mother in law and wanted to try them out, so about a week ago I finally cut the boys hair! A few days later Matt trimmed his head with them. However he left them on the bathroom counter.... This is what resulted, handy work of Kysaac. I was really Mad, however grateful that they were not girls! I had to shave their whole head! Everyone we meet says it looks good though so drama over!

In Matts defense they could have gotten to them where I left them too but I blame him cause he left them in the bathroom where we do the hair cutting! ;)

Big Sky Montana!

We went camping in Montana with my mom and had a great time! The Campground was beautiful and we got to see some gorgeous Montana "Big Sky" It was a lot of fun! We went on a little hike up to some crystal caves and it was quite an experience. It's seriously not more than 100 yards but its like straight up! I practically carried Hampton up and Matt pushed and supported Kysaac the whole way not to mention ourselves. It was so hard but had to finish just to say we did it! Then we had to crawl through a little hole to get inside! It was crazy! We had to slide on our butts the whole way back down so we didn't go tumbling head over heals!

Me chilling by the fire pit! It was so beautiful!

Pretty River right behind campground!

Bear Lake

Me and the boys went and stayed with Matts parents in Bear Lake at their timeshare and had a lot of fun. We spent most of the time on the beach and the boys loved running through the water and putting their Monster Trucks in the sand. It was really fun!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! We had a really long day! We woke up bright and early at 6:00 am and headed to the Pocatello parade to be with Papa Johns! Me Kysaac and Hampton sat on the float while Matts employees and family gave out popcycles and coupons. Kysaac had a blast waving at everyone and having people cheer at him. Every once in awhile he would scream "Papa Johns is the best" it was cute! Hampton didn't catch on so fast. All he wanted was a popcycle. He started waving a little then got bored and then was asleep on my lap before it was over. Still way cute! Then we headed straight to Idaho Falls where Matt had to work in a booth by the river. The boys and I went and spent the day with Angee and Gayla's Family (my sisters)! We saw the fireworks by the river and got home just before 1:00 am only for Matt to head back to his store and didn't get home until after 3:00. We are exhausted, but we had a great day!

These were the jumping toys by the river. They had a blast in these!Kysaac and Stephan

Hampton is quite the jumper anyway so he was in heaven!

Kysaac's first time rock climbing.

My Birthday!

I was planning on maybe going out for my birthday after Matt came home from work. No big deal. I was wrong...Matt took the day off and got up with the kids and let me sleep in. He then brought me breakfast in bed. He had the whole day planned. We went hiking which I've been begging Matt to go. The boys did AWESOME! Then we got home and Matt had flowers delivered to me. Then we had a babysitter and went to Texas Roadhouse and then to see Transformers. (which is really good!) I had a wonderful day and want to thank Matt for treating me so special. I Love You!

Break Throughs!!

This last week we have had a few breakthroughs that have made life easier and some not so much (at least I'm still trying to decide)!

1st- I have had a weakness for taking the easy way when it comes to putting Kysaac to bed. For example its easier for me to sit with him until he falls asleep than to have him get out of bed crying every 5 min. Plus since he has not been taking naps it only takes him 5 min or less for him to be completely out!.....Not anymore! Matt and I gathered our patience together (preparing for a long few nights) and told Kysaac that mommy is not staying with him while he falls asleep.
1st night-A little cave of bribery and he was asleep in 20 min.
2nd night- no crying or noise (we thought we were so lucky) found him asleep at the top of the stairs when we went to bed!
3rd night- success!!

2nd- You'd think my boys were raised in Washington or something cause they wont eat meat very well or Potatoes at all!!! Ky will eat french fries but Hampton wont even do that. I made hamburgers for me and Matt and hotdogs for the boys one day and we went out to eat on our patio. Out of the blue Ky looks at Matt and says he wants one like daddy. I jumped at the oportunity and he ate his first whole Hamburger Ever!(he's 3 1/2!) Since then he's more likely to eat (or try) other meats and often asks for hamburgers. I've also thrown in mashed potatoes and he will eat them without gravy. Weird but Yeah!!!

3rd-(I'm still debating) Of course boys will be boys and brothers will be brothers but I've been trying to get Kysaac to think about how he needs to take care of his little brother. He has defintily gotten better and I love to see them play and "bond" as brothers. However....there are times now that they knowingly ally together against me. The best story so far is last night during dinner we were eating(matt was working) and Hampton turned his plate upside down and started swishing his hands back and forth through it. I yelled in frustration for him to stop and he froze with the cutest puckered lip ever. While I was trying not to laugh I swear he signaled Kysaac. He didn't move his face or body but his eyes went from mine to Ky's about three times. Ky started laughing and playing with his food. I told Ky to stop and that he better finish eating or he was in trouble too. While my attention was occupied Hampton then swished more food on the floor and they started laughing so hard! Holding back my own laughter I stood up and leaned over to them. They both stopped and then Hampton took a bite then did the same eye thing and Ky took a bite. "please finish eating" I said and sat back down. the second I sat down they looked at eachother and started laughing while they continued to play with their food. They were absolutely in alliance and knew exactly what they were doing!!! I just started laughing!! Even after cleaning it up I feel so lucky to be a mom of two funny funny boys!

Pioneer Dresses

Maria is so amazing she made these dresses for a couple young women in washington that need them for a pioneer trek.
